We’re fully licensed by the State of North Carolina and NC DWI Services to provide DMV-approved DWI assessments, education, and treatment in a confidential, judgment-free environment.

What to Expect
At Breathe, we understand how stressful this time can be. That’s why we keep our classes small, calm, and supportive — so you can feel comfortable while completing your requirements.
Most assessments can even be completed the same day you call.
During your appointment, one of our licensed clinicians will:
- Conduct a confidential clinical interview
- Administer a national standardized questionnaire
- Determine the appropriate education or treatment level for DMV or court requirements
What to Bring
- $100 Assessment Fee (set by NC law)
- Accepted: Cash, money order, or credit card (no personal checks)
- Breathalyzer reading (BAC)
- Copy of citation or ticket
⚠️ Important: State rules require DWI assessments to be valid for only 6 months.
Treatment or ADETS must begin within that time, or a new assessment (and $100 fee) will be required.

Program Options
ADETS (Alcohol and Drug Education Traffic School)Length: 16 hours (offered monthly)
Cost: $160 class fee + $25 for Prime for Life book
Eligibility:
- BAC of .14 or less
- No prior DWI charges
- No test refusal
- No diagnosed substance use disorder

Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6–8 PM
Duration: Complete in 30–45 days
Format: Telehealth or in-person
Payment plans available
This program helps clients meet requirements while building insight and accountability in a supportive setting.

Duration: 60–90 days

This level of care provides deeper therapeutic work and ongoing support for lasting change.
